SPECIAL MACHINE INDUSTRIES
In-Place Machining Company of Milwaukee, WI
In-Place Machining designed and manufactured a Large Polishing Machine for the University of Arizona Steward Observatory Mirror Lab. The machine is used in the manufacture of ultra large glass mirrors such as the twin 28 ft diameter mirrors used in the Large Binocular Telescope currently under construction in southern Arizona. PanelTEK designed, assembled, tested, and installed the control panels for this fully computer controlled polishing machine.

PAPER HANDLING INDUSTRIES
Indianapolis Star Newspaper, Indianapolis, IN
PanelTEK has done applications in roll preparation systems, press loading equipment, core cutting and handling equipment, for the paper industry. PanelTEK was involved in the engineering, design, assembling and installation of several press roll automated handling systems for several major newspapers. These included Syracuse News, Indianapolis Star and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Giddings and Lewis manufacturers a wide range of horizontal boring mills, vertical turning, and horizontal machining centers. PanelTEK designs and assembles all there CNC controls as well as provides electrical parts and accessories.
