 Dale Gamberini, owner of PanelTEK, was an employee of Giddings and Lewis Machine Tool for 23 years. Giddings & Lewis is a major supplier of machine tools worldwide. As a Manager of Applications Engineering, Dale's responsibilities included the engineering, design and support of computer Numerical Controls. His responsibility encompassed engineering design, panel layouts, part specification, engineering research, software design and testing.In September 2000, Giddings & Lewis made the decision to focus on core competencies and to begin outsourcing many of the manufacturing tasks previously completed in-house, which included panel building. Dale started the business with 6 seasoned panel builders and electrical designers. In one year, the business expanded to over 20 employees providing panel assembly, engineering designs and support.
